This chiseled Champagne is absolutely mouthwatering, deftly knitting that bright frame with a fine bead, a chalky undertow and rich and expressive aromas and flavors. Fragrant hints of ground cardamom, lime blossom and ground coffee accent creamed pear, grilled nut, cassis and pickled ginger flavors, ending with a long, creamy finish. Drink now through 2033. 167 cases imported.

The 2013 Brut Rive Gauche-Rive Droite Grand Cru captures the essence of Marc Hebrart's style. Rich and expansive, with tons of aromatic breadth, the 2013 envelops the palate with layers of flavor that continue to build over time. Soaring aromatics and bright acids pull it all together. This is such a pretty wine. I especially like the sense of transparency here. Disgorged: July 11, 2019.

Disgorged in May 2019, Hébrart's 2013 Extra-Brut Grand Cru Rive Gauche - Rive Droite is showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, quince, nougat, white flowers and brioche. Medium to full-bodied, vinous and layered, with a deep core of fruit, racy acids and a pillowy mousse, it's concentrated and precise, with a seamless, elegant profile. Hébrart is going from strength to strength, and this cuvée exemplifies that.
