Golden hued, this is an opulent, highly perfumed skin contact Semillon-Viognier blend that explodes with aromas of honey, ginger, apples, butter and blossoms. With time in the glass, more toasted coconut and beeswax hand soap aromas reveal themselves. Despite the rich nose, the palate is bone-dry. But it lacks the vibrancy, textural interest and phenolic finish that make up many of the best amber wines.
