A bright, cherry-flavored red, with accents of iron, tobacco and tar, this Barbaresco is vibrant and shows excellent tension. Balanced and juicy, with a chalky feel on the long finish. Best from 2024 through 2038. 150 cases imported.

The 2018 Barbaresco is a very pretty, ethereal wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Crushed flowers, spice, tobacco, cedar and mint are all laced together in this super-classy Barbaresco. The 2018 is gorgeous today and will drink well for another decade.

The shy nose offers whiffs of French oak, camphor and dark spice. The lean palate is also rather shy, offering vanilla, coffee bean and the barest hint of dried cherry alongside dusty, drying tannins.
