Cherry, black currant and violet flavors are the hallmarks of this elegant red. There is a light burr to the tannins on the finish now, which should dissolve in a year or two. Best from 2019 through 2032. 23 cases imported.

Good dark red. Pure but reticent aromas of black raspberry, menthol and roast co!ee. Supple and pliant but a bit youthfully medicinal today, with its saline minerality currently dominating dark berry fruit. The savory finish features serious tannins that reach the front teeth. This persistent but youthfully closed wine shows very good definition but will require several years of cellaring to come into harmony. Will its fruit outlast its tannins?
