A wonderfully elegant and pure nose that is as much wine as it is Champagne as the fruit is more deeply pitched... this is more high-toned Pinot Noir in character. The flavors are delicious, complex and detailed with real depth and punch. A lovely but entirely serious Rose. 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Score: 93.

A well-balanced and mouthwatering rose Champagne, with spice and saline accents to the flavors of cherry, chopped almond and pink grapefruit granita. A hint of oyster shell lingers on the finish. Disgorged September 2017. Drink now through 2021. 400 cases imported.

The NV Brut Rose Grand Cru blossoms beautifully in the glass with layers of fruit that fill out in the glass. As always, Billiot's Rose is a rich, broad-shouldered wine with plenty of intensity and vinous depth. This edition is 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, based on the 2009 vintage, with 25% each 2008 and 2007, including some still Pinot from those vintages.

90 points Pale salmon skin color. Complex nose combines strawberry preserves, ginger, molasses, nutmeg, flowers and earth. Bright, penetrating flavors of strawberry, raspberry and flowers, with complicating notes of smoke and minerals. A dense, saline Champagne with noteworthy flavor authority and length. Score: 90.
