The 2014 Merlot/Cabernet Franc La Carte et Le Territoire from St. Helena's Young-Inglewood Vineyard is a mellow Cabernet Franc blend (70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc). Somewhat St.-Emilion-inspired, the wine has a dark ruby/plum/purple color, notes of Asian plum, black cherry, kirsch and sandalwood with roasted herbs and earth in the background. It is medium to full-bodied, fleshy, and best drunk over the next 7-8 years.
