This single-vineyard estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon is born in the vineyard blocks that surround Robert Foley Vineyards at 2000 feet elevation on Howell Mountain. Ripe black cherry aromas and flavors accompany a flood of texture across the palate. Abundant chewy tannins frame a wealth of extract in the middle, luscious and ripe with suggestions of chocolate and berries. The natural acidity provides a very long balanced finish. This mountain Cabernet Sauvignon will continue to bottle age gracefully for many years to come. Hector Lopez's golden touch in our estate vineyard has produced the best fruit I have ever worked with. This is my favorite wine, bar none. Production of the Howell Mountain Cabernet is limited, but worth the effort to take the ride!
