Floral, cherry, raspberry, mineral and spice aromas and flavors are the hallmarks of this silky red. Graceful and persistent in a subtle way, this is long and harmonious, with the emphasis on fruit and floral elements right through the finish. A picture of finesse and detail. Best from 2025 through 2042.

Apparently it was a struggle obtaining contracted fruit to create the 2019 Latricieres-Chambertin Grand Cru. It is rather cowed by the flamboyant Griottes at the moment, coming across quite conservative with tertiary black fruit laced with tobacco. The medium-bodied palate has firm, slightly chewy tannins. There is good depth and grip here, but I would like more finesse and persistence on the finish.
