Offering up aromas of red cherries, smoked meats and toasty new oak, the 2017 Pommard 1er Cru Pezerolles is medium to full-bodied, firm but fleshy, with ripe acids, a generous core of fruit, moderate concentration and youthfully chewy tannins that lack a bit of polish, lending a rustic quality to the finish.
